  Called Jersey Urology Group at approximately 8:30 am on Monday morning to schedule an appointment and no one answered the phone. The recording suggests using the new mobile app or the website. I put in my information online around 9:15 am after trying to call again and again no one answered. At approximately 2 pm I called once again and finally someone answered. After telling the person that answered I would be a new patient she transferred me and this time the phone just rang. I guess that means they don't want new business. At this point I'd die before I stepped foot into any office with the name Jersey Urology Group.

  I needed to make an appointment to see a member of JUG I called in the middle of February. The first available appointment was april 3rd. Was told if I was late to the appointment the Dr would not see me. I had to leave work early to make the appointment. I looked up office on line and went to the address posted. Wrong office and there was no posting or sign directing anyone to the new location. Had to ask for directions. Hurried over to new location just making time. Had to fill out what I thought was too much info needed to have a Dr. visit. Went back to exam room and was given paperwork to fill out. They wanted my SSN and a credit card #. I am always uncomfortable giving anyone my SSN, and I never carry a credit card with me. I was told that I would need to reschedule because it is office policy to have a credit card on file. I was not happy about that news if I was required to bring a credit card to a doctor appointment why wasn't I told? I said are you kidding me? They responded that it was office policy. The problem with these doctor groups is, they are not in the medical profession to help people they want to make a killing with billing. The doctors in these groups have to remember who they work for, the patient in the boss and they need to start kissing up to the boss. I wasted all that time taking off from work to go to this appointment, and why do you need a credit card when I have good insurance? I have one policy... Don't see a doctor that has too many policies!!
